ACXIOM - Small Area Income Data

The dataset presents small area income levels and characteristics for households across Great Britain. The data contains postcode level geographical units with respective income aggregations, last updated in 2012, and including the following information:

  • APE Total Income
  • APE Average Income
  • Median Income 12
  • Lower Income Quartile 12
  • Upper Income Quartile 12
  • 1st Modal Income 12
  • 2nd Modal Income 12
  • Identifies if Income distribution is unimodal, bimodal or multimodal
  • Number of households
  • Number of people/Population
  • Number of people aged 18+/adult population
  • Number of households in age bands: 18-24
  • Number of households in age bands: 25-34
  • Number of households in age bands: 35-44
  • Number of households in age bands: 45-54
  • Number of households in age bands: 55-64
  • Number of households in age bands: 65 +
  • Number of people in household banded: 1
  • Number of people in household banded: 2
  • Number of people in household banded: 3
  • Number of people in household banded: 4
  • Number of people in household banded: 5
  • Number of people in household banded: 6+
  • Number of households with children

  • Number of households by tenure: private rent

The Consumer Data Research Centre CDRC was established in 2014 with funding from the UK Economic and Social Research Council.
